Company Director
A popular and passionate business leader, Ben has been at the heart of the Roland story since joining his family’s firm in 1990. His knowledge and skill has been honed through experiencing all aspects of the company’s delivery over the last three decades – from quality control, to engineering, sales and management.
Proud of his Suffolk heritage, Ben can often be found spending his spare time in the county’s countryside or waterways with his wife, two children, and his beloved dogs.
Company Director
After many years working for the Roland brand, Jonathan stepped into management in 2004. He has an extensive level of professional expertise as an engineer, building on a previous career role as a boat builder.
Like Ben, his journey has taken him from shop floor to management.
Jonathan and his family are keen sailors and appreciate the opportunity to escape on to the rivers of East Anglia.
Head of Sales & Marketing
With a strong background in engineering, Barrie joined the company in 2020. Completing his mechanical engineering apprenticeship in 2004, Barrie started his career in electronics and completed rotations in design, project management, purchasing, sales and production at director level. Technical sales and solving customers problems are his passions.
As well as spending time with his family, Barrie is very active in the community and runs the local sea scouts group.
